Mother’s Day Message
Our dear loved ones,
As we approach this day which honors our mothers, we ask you to allow yourselves to accept the feelings which arise. For some, it is exciting, a day of giving back to the one you wish to celebrate. Though for others, it is a difficult day full of pretending your mother deserves being celebrated. Today, we speak to those who would benefit by understanding their grief associated with this day.
You see, for many, we do not accept that we chose our family. You may ask, ‘Why would I choose someone who did not show me the affection I needed as a child?’ Many also have chosen to blame their present issues on their childhood pain. Their beliefs of unworthiness, of showing favoritism, and their frustration of not being seen or heard, just to name a few. This being said, we ask, ‘How’s that working out for you?’ For carrying the pain of another’s unfortunate choices, still ends with you carrying the pain.
We are here to shatter your illusion of being the victim of your circumstances. For you chose this life, you chose your family, and you chose most of the events of your childhood which brought you pain. These choices were made before coming to this earth, knowing they would help you rise to the point of knowing you are stronger than your past experiences. A knowing that you can be pushed down by someone who you love, and learn to stand back up on your own. Yes, the pain is deep because this is not what a child should have experienced. Though in the strength this created, you learned your worthiness, your ability to favor yourself, and being able to stand strong in allowing yourself to be heard and seen. For the past pains helps you see your reality, and overcoming the hurtful messages from someone you love, gives you the strength to love yourself enough to stand up for your beliefs.
You see, it is not about your past, it is about your choices of who you become from experiencing your past. For you are no longer that neglected or abused child, you are a strong adult who has learned from the childhood you had chosen, and still had the ability to rise above and beyond the expectations of the others who hurt you. For You Are the Creator of This Life! And you were given the tools of a painful childhood to know you are worthy of more.
